Homemade applesauce is such a fun toddler treat! It's incredibly simple to make and tastes way better than the store-bought stuff! I let my toddler make this with me and we explored colors, textures, scents and flavors together. His favorite part was the taste testing! I used my handy Ninja blender for this recipe.

This little sauce sampler is a fun way to pack extra nutrition into your little one's restricted diet. Each batch takes only 1 apple and is totally allergy-friendly. Here are the recipes!

1 large apple (I like a firm, tangy variety)

1/4 cup water
Peel apple and cut into large chunks. Cut strawberries in half.
Place fruit and water into a small saucepan and simmer for 10-15 minutes, until apples are soft.
Let mixture cool, blend in blender until smooth.
